Cacao nibs are made from crushed cocoa beans and are a highly nutritious chocolate product. Our cocoa beans are selected by hand from ripe fruits that are harvested in small family gardens. The beans are fermented, dried, cleaned and carefully roasted at a temperature below 45ºC. After cooling, the grains are peeled and the foreign material is removed from the seeds, obtaining a quality product. They have a somewhat bitter, dark and nutty chocolate taste. They go well together with nuts and dried fruit, but you can also add these to cookies, pastries, yoghurt, smoothies, for instance. Cacaonibs are a excellent source of fibers and iron. They are also full of antioxidants and magnesium. Magnesium is a mineral that is involved in more than 300 processes in the human body.
