Macadamia's are luxury nuts with a creamy texture and a mild, nutty taste. Our organic Macadamia nuts are unroasted and unsalted and need no further additions. More then 75% of the fats in macadamia's are healthy, unsaturated fats. These are associated with a lower grade of cholesterol. Besides this, macadamia nuts are very rich of manganese minerals. This mineral contributes i.e. to proper functioning of the nerve system and the metabolism. Of course, you can consume the macadamia's as a snack, but their also delicious in all kinds of recipes. White chocolate-macadamia cookies are a classic for instance, and that is not without reason.
