Our aromatic sun dried tomatoes are a delicious, healthy seasoning and can be used in many ways. The tomatoes have to be soaked in lukewarm water before use.
Our sun dried tomatoes, after washing and selection, are longitudinally manually cut, salted and let to dry under the sun at ~ 33 % of humidity. These are then washed/desalted in water, dried in dynamic oven and after a manual & mechanical selection, the product is checked by metal-detector, packed and stored in a cool and dry place. These dried tomatoes have to be soaked in lukewarm water before use. These should be used economically and cut in small pieces because of the concentrated taste. Dried tomatoes are a source of vitamins C and A, that provide a strong immune system. They also contain different minerals like calcium, magnesium and phosphorus for strong bones and potassium that neutralizes the hypertensive effect of sodium. These tomatoes are a delicious, healthy seasoning and can be used in many ways.
