Strawberries* - freeze dried

What you experience when you eat a handful of freeze-dried strawberries? The sweet fresh taste of crispy strawberries. Our organic strawberries are 100% strawberry, and contain no additional sweeteners or preservatives. You can eat the strawberries as a snack, but also use these as addition to pastries or smoothies for example. Another classic combination would be strawberries and muesli. You can add some strawberries to your favorite muesli, or try one or our breakfast products with freeze-dried fruit. Freeze-drying works basically like this: the strawberries are first frozen and then placed in a space with very low pressure. When heat is being added, the ice crystals sublimate and the water is removed. in contradiction to normal drying there is no moisture left in the product, but the taste and color are really well preserved.
